Я доработал и запаковал этот скрипт в пакет с одноименным названием.
Скрипт позволяет обнаруживать неочевидные ошибки (навроде той, что
произошла при подготовке обновления MySQL; а именно: содержимое файлов
в ~/RPM/SOURCES может "перекрываться" последним установленным пакетом;
при этом имена файлов могут совпадать).

Прошу всех пользоваться.  Скрипт будет дорабатываться.

       srpmcmp -- compare source RPM packages

SYNOPSIS
       srpmcmp [options] package-v1.src.rpm package-v2.src.rpm

DESCRIPTION
       This perl script compares the contents of two source rpm pacakges in
       unified diff format.

OPTIONS
       --deep
	   Compare also source trees (by default, only top-level files like
	   spec-files and patches are compared).

       --autocrap
	   Compare also files automatically generated with GNU autotools.
