Я сейчас занимаюсь сборкой пакета mon.

Для полноценной его работы нужно собрать много дополнительных модулей.
Некоторые модули откровенно не работают (например, Filesys-DiskSpace
последней версии от 1999 года понимает только ext2). Если хорошо
собрать все модули, то получится важный компонент для любого серверного
дистрибутива.
Короче, я на пару дней от gnome1 устраняюсь.
