Hello!
В mkinitrd-2.8.8-alt1 вошла поддержка software raid - это хорошо. Но
там надо бы сделать несколько исправлений - см. приложенный патч.
1) Улучшен regexp для поиска raid-устройств в fstab (просто поиск
^/dev/md может поймать, например, LVM volume group с названием,
начинающимся с md).
2) Исправлены имена модулей для raid4 и linear.
3) Файл устройства для raidautorun, во-первых, перемещён в /safedev
(на случай появления devfs), во-вторых, заменён на md255. Причина этой
замены - баг в старых ядрах (2.4.20-alt*, включая и последнее alt9):
если устройство, через которое выдаётся RAID_AUTORUN, запускается этим
вызовом, для него портится счётчик ссылок, в результате raidstop может
его остановить, даже если оно смонтировано (очень неприятно, если
корень на md0 - raidstop вызывается в стандартном скрипте halt).
