Здравствуйте!
Было бы неплохо в rescue режиме загрузочного CD дистрибутива
получить дополнительно команду mt (пакет mt-st) и устройства
/dev/st0, /dev/nst0 (и так далее /dev/st1..., /dev/nst1...).
Это как минимум позволило бы без дополнительных телодвижений
восстанавливаться с ленты, записаной amanda-й.
