Lua is a powerful, light-weight programming language designed for extending
applications. Lua is also frequently used as a general-purpose, stand-alone
language.

ppmd
----------------------------------------------------------
Description :
A fast archiver program with good compression ratio PPMd predicts the
probability of a given character based on the characters that
immediately precede it (as all PPM compressors, see also Markov Chains
and Context Modeling). This archiver should be better than zip, gzip,
bzip2, zzip, szip and PPMZ at compressing files.
The drawback is extremely high (but tunable) memory consumption.

Description :
SciGraphica -- это программа для визуализации и анализа данных. Она
задумана как клон программы Microcal Origin с целью создать
полнофункциональное, кроссплатформенное и удобное научное приложение,
которое благодаря открытости исходного кода может дополняться и
исправляться пользователями. Расширение функций программы также доступно
с помощью модулей на языке Python.
