Первое короче и эффектнее.
Всё-таки, почему плохо размещать узилища в /var?
Если какие-то chrooted приложения запускаются до/без монтирования
файловых систем -- это, по-моему, уже перебор. Сеть даже не должна
взводиться в таких режимах.
