Ещё довод вслед: по умолчанию ведь порт в xinetd отключён?
Чтобы его включить, администратор должен либо отредактировать
конфигурацию и перезапустить xinetd, либо возложить эту задачу
на конфигурятор. В любом случае в отсутствие xinetd он ничего сделать
не сможет.
