Я тут попробовал поставить wks26-smp-alt7 себе на ноут (ASUS M6800N) так
сразу же после его распаковки и запуска (из LILO) машина уходит на
перезагрузку (параметры ядра append="nolapic resule2=/dev/hda1").
up вариант работает без проблем.
