Ну, напр, перед выпуском стабильного дистрибутива, официально выпускать
тестовую версию, как, напр, в Debian и Мелкософт.
Напр, мелкософт ранее официально выкладывало диски Vista, Server 2008,
Office 2007 и пр. для тестирования: http://tehpoisk.ru/articles/neww2008test
