Вопрос закрылся неожиданным образом:
оказывается есть новый дистрибутив взамен сгнившего Familiar. Он
называется "The Ångström Distribution", вот ТУТ:
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/
В нём ядро 2.6 и EABI Version4.
