пересобрал ядра 2.6.16.35 и 2.6.18.5 с настройками

Результат одинаков:
При загрузке драйвер печатает слебующие сообщения (порт и winbond superio чип
w83627hf (в котором LPT) нашел и загрузился нормально):
<7>frob_econtrol(ff,34): 00 -> 34
<7>frob_econtrol(e0,00): 35 -> 15
<6>parport0: PC-style at 0x378 (0x778), irq 7 [PCSPP(,...)]
<7>frob_econtrol(ff,34): 00 -> 34
<6>parport_pc_probe_port> ok.
но функции
cat fileneme.ext > /dev/lp0
cat fileneme.ext > /dev/parport0
cat fileneme.ext > /dev/par0
выдают сообщения об ошибке:
bash: /dev/lp0: No such device or address
Как победить?
