Нет, совсем не лучше. Ситуация с x86_64 даже в Сизифе сейчас такова,
что ставить на x86_64-железку аналогичный Сизиф себе может позволить
только лишь этот самый sisyphus-hacker.
Да и растрачивать силы полутора человек, у которых есть доступ к таким
железкам на поддержание backports/updates для 3.0 IMHO не стоит.
(У нас в 64bit-сизифе половины важных системных пакетов нет, не говоря о
десктопных штучках).
