Этот модем сконфигурирован в режиме ISA-PnP?
В новых ядрах драйвер последовательных портов вкомпилирован
непосредственно в ядро, а не в виде отдельного модуля - это необходимо
для использования последовательного порта в качестве консоли. Однако
при этом в нём потерялась поддержка ISA-PnP, т.к. isa-pnp.o собран
модулем.
Если модем настроить перемычками на конкретные порты и IRQ, а потом
указать эти значения в setserial - такая конфигурация должна работать
со всеми ядрами.
2devel-kernel: придётся тащить isa-pnp в ядро?
