Не, слишком просто :)
И не хотел каждый раз апдейтить флешку после установки нового ядра.
В принципе, мне, кажется, помог бы chainloader.
Но тут засада: нужных дисков grub2 не видит.
Придётся пока делать /boot на флешке.. :(
