До моего нынешнего четвертого пентиума Alt Linux (тогда еще Master 2.2) на
том же винте (120 гб) жил в такой конфигурации - Celeron 450 Мгц, RAM 128
mb, и любимая VooDoo 3, позже я к этой конфигурации добавил еще 128 мб, но
не для Альта, а для Хрюши, жившей на винте по соседству... Причем я
пользовался тогда исключительно КДЕ (!)... И особых тормозов не
чувствовал, только когда запускался osec...
Это был мой самый любимый комп после 486 DX-100 с его 32 мб...
Но если все же есть предубеждения - тогда Icewm (как и Wmaker) - довольно
неплохой выбор, если с душой подойти к делу и создать свою тему, чтобы
радовала свой, личный глаз... Как раз сейчас с этим разбираюсь - в
принципе не сложно...
