Здравствуйте!
Уже довольно долго присматриваюсь к xfce, наконец решился только что
установить его. Выбрал в Синаптике минимальный вариант установки, чтобы
потом выборочно подкачивать и доставлять разные примочки. В итоге синаптик
насчитал мне, что нужно загрузить всяких обновлений на 150 мб, нужно
удалить старые Иксы, Гном, КДЕ и всякой всячины по мелочи, предложив
взамен другое, новое, НО УЖЕ БЕЗ КДЕ... Что же это такое?
Почему почти каждый интересный новый пакет в Сизифе требует переустановки
всего...?? И контрвопрос - трудно создавать дистрибутивы с
static-библиотеками, прилагаемыми к программе (как в Опере, она хоть уже и
седьмая, но ставится на любой старый Линукс, благодаря своему static
дистрибутиву)?
XFCE я так и не установил... как и не устанавливаю 90 % интересного софта
из Сизифа, потому что не хочется корежить систему из-за одной программы,
какая бы она чудесная ни была...
Стоит ли на повестке дня у разработчиков такой вопрос, как коренное
усовершенствование утилиты, отслеживающей зависимости пакетов?
