Есть масса вариантов. На вскидку:
1.
запакуйте:
$ tar -c -f backup.tar ~/*
$ gzip -9 backup.tar
, а затем "бережно" перенесите в нужное место
2.
Если маши в сетке - настройте NFS и скопируйте.
3.
Тоже, что и (2) только через ssh.
