Если он попал в дистрибутив (честно скажу, не проверял), то лучше бы его
не было вообще. Потому что если пакета нет, то "нельзя объять
необъятное", у нас много чего нет, и всего нет ни у кого. И это понятно
пользователям. А когда пакет есть, но в состоянии неработоспособности,
причем не из-за фатальной ошибки с выбросом корки, а из-за небрежности
мэйнтейнера (во всяком случае именно такое первое впечатление), то
создается резко негативное мнение об дистрибутиве в целом как о
пионерской поделке.
