Сегодня я словил похожую ситуацию, играясь с бетой новой версии...
Самое странное - запуск из консоли проходит вполне нормально, а вот
запуск из меню - виснет глухо... У меня есть подозения в чем тут
проблема, но хотел бы увидеть ps auxwww ДО запуска и лог strace
неудачного запуска в багзиле...
