Александр, во-первых, обратите внимание на первое слово новости - "Если" и
общий игривый тон первой фразы. Во-вторых, это перевод (перевод не в смысле
перевод-подстрочник в духе позднего Набокова, времен работы над комментарием
к "Евгению Онегину", а в смысле передачи смысла) кусочка статьи с Boston
Globe. В-третьих, вы увидели только то, что вам хотелось увидеть (см.
во-первых). Суть новости в том, что применение PC с linux дешевле (в данном
конкретном случае), чем US c Solaris. И что Sun жаль терять рынок
дорогостоящих станций. Разве не так? По-моему так. Посему, я бы не стал
делать таких масштабных выводов, тем более что Софтерра отделена от
Комьютерры-онлайн.
P.S. О чем писал Золотов я не знаю, поэтому комментировать (естественно! как
впрочем и много другое, может относящееся к Fiodor Sorex и его работе) не
буду.
