Доброе время суток!!!
Вопрос по CUPS
Стоит на Мастере2.2
В офисе нарадоваться не могут работой сервера печати,
говорят были часты проблемы с печатью,
сейчас забыли что это такое.
так что у меня особых нареканий нет, работае и прекрасно :)
Но есть пара моментов не понятных мне.
в CUPSе имеется три лог файла.
access_log
page_log
error_log
Первый два мало интересует, в последний иногда заглядываю
там постоянно появлятется запись
Job 1908 queued on 'Brother' by 'fax'.
Started backend /usr/lib/cups/backend/parallel (PID 12887) for job 1908.
Если это нормально то почему она идет в error_log а не к примеру
в page_log
Но это лично мое отношение к ERROR :)
Может оно и верно все
есть еще один вопрос
в директории
/var/spool/cups
остаются файлы типа этого c01719
с небольшим содержимым в нутри.
и при интенсивной работе принтера, таких файлов накапливается
значительно колличество.
Приходится их руками удалять, так как смысла их хранить там не
вижу.
Почему CUPS их сам не удаляет?
