Фигня. Журнал вовсе не обязательно даёт оверхед (а бывает, что и
приводит к ОЧЕНЬ ЗНАЧИТЕЛЬНОМУ ускорению, как ты было в ФС
Spiralog). Примитивность FS - тоже вовсе не есть хорошо. Поиск по
большой директории на ext2 - дело крайне нудное и тормознутое, в
отличии от reiserfs и xfs, где вместо линейного поиска надо всего
лишь просмотреть b-дерево.

Религиозные войны - чушь и поцня. Под разные задачи нужны разные
fs, а универсальных файлух - не бывает.
ЗЫ: а знае Тель Ави, шлемазлы, шо слово "STOP" в обратную
сторону читается как "Поц"?!?
