Чай, не винХР, активировать при такой замене не надо. ;-) Тем
более, что-то сносить и переустанавливать. Забудьте эти термины
как страшный сон вин-пользователя.
А если серьезно, то перед заменой нужно поменять runlevel на 3
(чтобы автоматом не грузились X-Window, иначе немного попортите
себе нервы). После замены скорее всего "сразу" не будут работать
звук и видео (будет только текстовый режим). Настройка звука и
видео осуществляется привычными методами.
