Нет такого слова в конституции.
Например, у меня к USB подключен usb-хаб, встроенный в корпус. Под ядрами
серии 2.4.x он определяется как -устройство, подключенное к usb-. Вот и
имеем два usb-девайса - хост-контроллер (корневой разветвитель) и хаб на три
порта. У вас что-то похожее, наверное, вот и все.
Если уж так хочется остаться без USB - пересоберите ядро. Я выкидывал из
него вообще все что можно... И что нельзя тоже выкидывал. Тогда он обращать
внимания на эти устройства не будет совсем.
