Как-то мне пришлось прикручивать InterBase 4, рассчитанный на libc5 - без
создания chroot с необходимыми libc и ldconfig не запустилось совсем.
Slackware больше приспособлена к такого рода экспериментам, энтузиасты
запускали рекомый InterBase 4 и без chroot.
P.S. libc5, хотя и не mdk, а rh42, брал с ftp://ftp.leo.org. Только что
зашёл туда и ошалел - там зеркало ftp.altlinux.ru. "А мужики-то не знают!"
