Нет, понаэкспериментировались в свое время с таким железом, нифига хорошего :( И i486DX4-100, и даже P-100 быстро достают своими, давно уже забытыми, тормозами. Хотя если что-то типа RH6.0 и голая консоль... только не постите свои скриншоты на linux.ru.net!!!! :)(шучу)

Все так же казалось с самого начала ;) Потом понадобились Frame Buffer и X'ы, потом еще кое-какая бодяга, и понеслось...
Проще поискать нечто хотя бы с P-133, типа ThinkPad 560 или др.
И учиться на вполне современном дистре, слегка его "покромсав".
