Какими репозитариями пользуетесь? (Это можно посмотреть в

Откуда скачали .rpm? Пакеты для RedHat и Mandrake (о SuSE уже и не
говорю) мне удавалось поставить крайне редко, собрать из исходников
действительно удаётся чаще. Впрочем, см. ниже.

Вы уверены, что в ALM2.2 нет gperf (у меня ALC3.0, я не могу
проверить)? Если да, и если (как это в вашем случае, кстати --- см.
http://www.sisyphus.ru/srpm/gperf) пакет есть в Сизифе, куда
перспективнее собрать src.rpm из Сизифа --- вероятность получить
работающую программу куда больше.

Если вы хотите поставить отдельный пакет _не из репозитария_, это
делается командой rpm -i имя_пакета, без всякого APT.
