Здравствуйте, Уважаемые.
Подозреваю, что мой вопрос не совсем по адресу. Поскольку он не
о AltLinux. Но другой Linux-аудитории у меня нет.
Попал ко мне в руки SCSI винчестер, на котором установлена RH
7.2. На этом винте есть важная информация, которую необходимо
сохранить. При этом ничего не известно о компьютере к которому
он был подключен. Известно лишь то, что эта система была
работоспособной, на момент снятия этого винчестера. При
подключении его на новом месте попытка загрузки приводит к
сообщению вида:

Я понимаю, что это сбой LILO. Есть не очень здравая идея, вместо
того, что бы разбираться с этим сбоем, просто обновить систему
средствами дистрибутива RH 7.2 или RH 8.0. (сразу виден
виндузятник :-) ).
Не будет ли фатальной эта попытка.
Если это глупость, то, как можно вылечить это иначе?
Читал маны, много думал... :-)
