Уж если заводить речь о извращениях, то можно сделать более изящно :) В
результате изучения глюка, выяснил, что xclip -o выводить правильное
содержимое буфера. Так вот, на TDE, при запущенном klipper, можно
повесить на сочетание клавиш такую команду:
dcop klipper klipper setClipboardContents "$(xclip -o)"
С таким костылём, русский текст в общедесктопном буфере обмена
становится нормальным. В других DE это можно сделать через аналогичные
команды работы с менеджерами буфера обмена. Но не могу назвать это
решением проблемы, по крайней мере, пока не нашёл способа определять из
какого именно окна был скопирован текст, чтобы автоматизировать
применение этого костыля и сделать его прозрачным для пользователя.
Хочется грамотного фикса.
