Возникла такая проблема:
Имеется ADSL USB Modem Acorp Sprinter на чипе Conexant и
Compact 3.0.
При попытке настроить по всем
существующим инструкциям (которые по
большей части под ядро 2.4) - возникают или
ошибки либо вообще никакой реакции типа
"I can't found ADSL modem"
Почитал changelog на kernel.org и понял: в ядре 2.6.15
и далее есть штатная поддержка таких
модемов. Вот и проблема: в сизифе полного
набора пакетов для такого ядра я не
обнаружил - в частности kernel-module-nvidia-std26-up
(может плохо смотрел??? может кто кинет
ссылкой???). Т. е. на новое ядро перейти
проблемно ....
Вот и сам вопрос: может кто уже с такой
проблемой сталкивался и поделится
инструкцией, как правильно выйти из
такой ситуации и заставить модем
работать???
