Здравствуйте.
Имеется ноутбук ASUS F5 с видеокартой NVIDIA GeForce 7000m.
ОС Simply Linux 6.0.0 beta. После установки с LiveCD все работало
нормально (ядро 2.6.38, видеодрайвер - nouveau).
Обновил ядро до 3.0.3 и установил проприетарный видеодрайвер nvidia (из
репозитория p6).
Возникла следующая проблема: при запуске системы мелькает логотип NVIDIA
и происходит запуск Х-ов, но, вместо нормальной картинки, монитор
показывает по центру полосу примерно в половину ширины экрана с
прерывистыми диагональными линиями на ней. Как будто частота кадров
превышает возможности аппаратуры. НО при этом курсор мыши отображается
нормально.
"На ощупь" вхожу в систему и также "на ощупь" выхожу. Перезапускается
Xorg, и передо мной совершенно нормальное окно gdm. Дальше работа
совершенно нормальна.
Если войти через консоль и запустить startx, то все стартует нормально.

Если удалить xorg.conf, картина таже самая.
Как это побороть? И как включить комбинацию Cnrl+Alt+Backspace для
перезапуска Х-ов?
