Освободился немного потестировать предстоящий 6.0.0. Хотел здесь
отметить ряд проблем. Позже наиболее актуальные и ещё не окученные
выложу в багзилу. Понеслась:
- Не мешало-бы немного добавить вариантов выбора разрешений установщика,
или вообще убрать этот пункт из загрузчика. Но лучше добавить. У меня,
например, на моём дисплее Philips 190S7 с разрешением 800x600 есть
проблема, которая заключается в некорректной автоматической установке
частоты обновления, что приводит к уплыванию нижней, пятой, части экрана
за пределы видимости и не возможности это исправить средствами дисплея.
Исправляется только ручной установкой частоты обновления, что не
возможно в установщике.
- Большая скорость изменения фотографий при установке. До начала
процесса непосредственной установки пакетов успевает сделать оборота
три. Почему бы не привязать к проценту установки?
- grub2 никакими силами не устанавливается на раздел диска, не MBR. Я
честно не понимаю этой ситуации. Чем таким grub2 значительно лучше, что
понадобилось заменить Lilo, у которого такой, по мне так критической,
проблемы нет? Если уж поставили grub2 с такой проблемой так уберите
тогда шаг выбора места установки загрузчика, как бессмысленный и
приводящий к проблемам и вопросам. На разделе - ext4.
- После установки XOrg не распознал корректно родного разрешения
TFT-дисплея, того-же Philips 190S7, и поставил 1024x768. XOrg ранний
версий, из Branch 5.1, не имел этой проблемы.
- В перечне пакетов KDE4 отсутствует модуль настройки клавиатуры. Не
помешал бы.
