Почему так катигорично. Все таки ключевой момент вопроса (упустим wicd),
узнать наиблее вероятные места откуда может автоматически запуститься
приложение, к примеру init.d xinetd.d, т.е. где можно поискать, либо
есть-ли способ проследить путь откуда оно запускается.
