Есть. foo2zjs называется. И там всё.

Конечно не принесло.
Вы не туда прошивку положили.
В своё время я даже скрипт написал, чтоб прошивка сама выкачивалась с
инета и укладывалась куда надо. И всё это должно быть в 5.1.
Пришлите:
rpm -qa|grep foo2zjs
Вам же надо, если не захотите доставлять что-либо, свою прошивку
положить в /var/lib/foo2xqx/firmware/
Да, после того, как положите прошивку куда надо, принтер необходимо
выключить и включить, чтоб прошивка в него загрузилась. Затем уже
устанавливаем принтер в систему, как обычно.
