it's depend. К примеру, если надо записывать DVD - размер должен быть не
менее размера записываемого образа + запас. Или вложения в письма
большие приходят - у меня почтовый агент распаковывает их туда же. Если
же ничего такого толстого не предвидится - можно использовать tmpfs, как
это теперь по умолчанию в ALT делается.

Если у вас там MySQL DB или кэш squid - может потребоваться и больше.

Если разносите данные - это даже слишком много. Я обычно делаю 0.5 - 2 GB.

Последнее время - да. Только разбивку приходится делать вручную _перед_
инсталляцией, а сразу после - устанавливать jfsutils: инсталлятор этого
не умеет.
