Здравствуйте!!!
Хорошо бы иметь под altlinux пакет qtoctave, сообщение об этом в форуме
(http://forum.altlinux.org/index.php/topic,838.msg61162.html#msg61162) и
в bugzila (https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21977). Octave
(http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/) - пакет серьезный математический
пакет.
Отсутствие графической оболочки сдерживает его использование. Если
добавить qtoctave (http://qtoctave.wordpress.com/what-is-qtoctave/),
получим бы
достойную альтернативу MatLab.
Может, кто-то соберет?
P.S. Как и просили, пишу об этом не только в личку, но и в
