Странное утверждение :)
AS похож на винды (и КДЕ) только тем, что у него окна квадратные, и
заголовки с кнопочками. Нет иконок на столе, нет дурацкой кнопки "Пуск",
нет отдельной строки со свернутыми окнами, зато есть апплеты от WMaker,
по умолчанию переходы между рабочими столами "мышкой за край экрана", и
общая легкой и изящество.
Сейчас можно смотреть на AS 2.x, там добавили наворотов различных,
изредка релизы выпускают и т.п.
