Поставил я Е17 поглядеть, чего в нем за последних года 3 изменилось, не
пора ли переходить на него с медленно умирающего AfterStep 1.8. А как же
посмотришь, что в нем есть (какой конфигуратор, что умеет, какие
возможности и т.п.), если там ни одной буквы нет, все в квадратиках?!!
То, что WM умеет рисовать окошки с заголовками и кнопками я и так знаю,
а все остальное без читаемых надписей не понять. Причем: запуск его в
локали POSIX все равно не лечит шрифты. А значит программа конкретно
разломана, тривиальную починку никто делать не хочет, и место ей в
orphaned. Тогда и вопросов не будет "почему не работает".
