Хорошо. Теперь расскажу как печатать с Linux на Linux.
Первое что выполняем: control cups server
Второе - в /etc/cups/cupsd.conf ищем
Listen localhost:631
И добавляем ниже (или заменяем эту строку)
Listen *:631
Далее ищем
# Restrict access to the server...
<Location />
Order allow,deny
Allow 192.168.4.*
</Location>
Вот Allow 192.168.4.* и надо добавить (естественно с учётом своей сети)
Ну вроде бы и всё.
Делаем service cups restart и бежим к компу, который должен печатать на
этот сервер.
Там, средствами KDE добавляем новый принтер и говорим, что он cups
сетевой. Далее вводим адрес сервера (который настраивали), ставим
драйвер, вводим 5 раз пароль рута (это бага такая в нашем KDE) и печатаем.
Всё.
