Ну предположим, в десктопе обновится пакет, который в сервере имеет
более раннюю версию. Причем обновление произойдет по причине ошибок в
десктопной версии, а в серверной аналогичный пакет стабилен. Сервер тоже
получит это обновление?

Я имею в виду файл на уже установленной системе.
