Я такое ловил. Типа L или 09... Лечил выставлением винта в биосе с
режима AUTO в LBA.

Это было в ранней бете Desktop-а, которая судя по всему делалась с
заготовки сервера, там просто шрифт неудачный. Добавить шрифтов по вкусу
и в ЦУП-е поменять шрифты на более прямые.
