вот моя строчка
$ rpm -ba MySQL.spec MySQL-5.0.22-alt1.src.rpm
(rpm в конце компиляции написал, что-то похожее на
то что MySQL-5.0.22-alt1.src.rpm - не spec-файл,
что и понятно)
а случилось это так: результатом выполнения команды rpm --rebuild
........ была ошибка,
суть rpm'ов туманно понимаю, а потому в директории моего юзера в RPM
нашел spec-файл который остался после неудачного билда
(разархивированный MySQL-хх.tar.bz2 со всеми patch'ами был тоже на месте)
и решил найти что-то похожее на то что было в ошибке,( а вдруг получиться)
начал експерименты по мануалу к команде rpm, что касается -b*...
и результатом получилася рабочая MySQL.
Так вот интуитивно можно постигнуть вершины мастерства мейнтейнера :-)
Ввывод: ЧИТАЙТЕ ДОКУМЕНТАЦИЮ (это для себя)!
