Как обычно, всё зависит от целей, ценности хранящегося на винтах и кол-ва
денег. ;) Про hardware RAID на рабочих станциях я как-то не задумывался и
с ними не сталкивался. В основном - серверные варианты.
Собственные рабочие станции "живут" либо на отдельных SCSI-винтах, либо на
IDE и EVMS. %)
