Добрый день.
Решил поднять на alm24 спутниковый канал. Из железа ближайшим оказалось
skystar2 2.6d. Почитал faq.altlinux.ru, собрал и поставил драйвера

Поднял интерфейс карточки, поднял pptp до провайдера, настроил роутинг.
Вроде бы все заработало, правда карта иногда подвисает, и приходится
опускать интерфейс, выгружать модули и поднимать интерфейс заново.
Бог с ним, workaround сделаю.
Но вот какая проблема возникла: на этот же сервер я хожу по ppp, и
оказалось что после поднятия интерфейса skystar2 ppp практически
неработоспособен.
По результатам пинга ppp-интерфейса сервера картина нерадостная:
теряются примерно 30% пакетов. Если пинговать пакетами размером 2000
байт, то теряются все пакеты.
Т.е. делаем
modprobe dvb-core dvb_shutdown_timeout=0
modprobe stv0299
modprobe skystar2
szap -c /etc/channels.conf -n 1 -x
dvbnet -p $PID
пока все нормально... теперь делаем
ifconfig dvb0_0 $IP
и все... пакеты теряются, system time по показания vmstat поднимается
стабильно до 10%-11%, и так продолжается, пока не сделаешь
ifconfig dvb0_0 down
dcbnet -d 0
Сталкивался кто-нибудь с таким? Может помогут другие драйвера?
Решение поставить более "железную" плату конечно очевидно...
