Планирую в ближайшее время сделать Linux-сервер, в котором будет два
SATA HDD.
Встал вопрос каким образом реализовать "зеркало".
С soft-raid относительно все ясно, но есть идея сделать нормальный
"железный" RAID
В качестве дистрибутива планирую использовать ALT Linux 2.4 Master либо
ALT Linux 3.0 Compact
В принципе, можно попробовать, что то другое, но реально практика работы
была только с этим Linux дистрибутивом.
Почитав, я остановился на двух вариантах:
3ware 9550SX
Adaptec Serial ATA II RAID 2420SA
Подскажите, кто имел опыт реального использования данных контролеров под
Linux и что наиболее интересно, не будет ли проблем во время установки ALT
