Сканированием в u*nix'ах занимается sane. Что есть из него в альте,
можно посмотреть так:
$ apt-cache pkgnames | grep sane
+xsane
sane-devel
+sane
+sane-frontends
+libsane.so.1
libsane-hpoj.so.1
+xsane-gimp2
libsane-devel
libsane-devel-static
+libsane
sane-server
+xsane-gimp
libsane-hpoj
Что конкретно Вам из этого надо, зависит от Вашего сканера. Может ничего
из этого и не понадобится:-) Для начала сходите на
