Все можно, если соблюдать осторожность...
Нужно помнить о двух вещах:
1. Аккуратно досылать диск, чтобы не замкнуть контакты шины перекошенным
разъемом.
2. Использовать только рэки, в которых ключ/выключатель, подающий
питание на винт, коммутирует его с помощью специализированной
микросхемки, выдерживающей порядок и время подачи напряжений.
В большинстве недорогих мобил-рэков эта микросхемка выброшена "за
ненадобностью".
Но если Вы говорите, что под Виндой все хорошо - можно пытаться :)
