Несомненно можно, но только через CTAN, стандартным способом.
В противном случае возникнут проблемы совместимости. В сизифе
уже и так не работает latex2html, при том, что с 1991 года он без
изменений. В сизифе ни один документ не конвертиться в
html.
А вообще это вопрос вообще вне компетенции данного форума,
самого алт-линукса, как впрочем и всех остальных осей. Это в
компетенции только ctan. Я упоминал, что есть CyrTeX-ru@vsu.ru --
вот это и есть место для решения вопросов, касающихся TeX/LaTeX.
