Интересно, а вы его со звуком пускаете? (digger /A) или без?
Если со звуком, то попробуйте его сначала не включать, а потом
поиграться настройками этого звука.
У меня например, на одной из машин работает /usr/games/digger
/A:1,220,7,1,40000,512
А на другой 20000,1024...
Неправильный подбор вызывает этот самый сбой segmentation fault SDL ...
