Ситуация: посылаю задане на принтер, печатается, вплоть до последней
строки последнего листа (похоже оная - не полностью), но последний лист
остается торчать в принтере - не выходит. Дабы пропихнуть пытаюсь (f.e.
через KEdit) посылать пустой текст на печать (или совсем пустой или
только с <Return>-ами).
Видимого результата нет.
В "Настройка"->"Принтеры"->"Задания" посланное "на пропих" задание
торчит под меткой "Обработка", остальные - "В очереди". В то же время на
12-ю консоль сыплются пары сообщений вида (не знаю какое из них первое,
а какое - второе):
kernel: usb-uhci.c: EMXIO 80000380, flag 0, urb ebbfc160, burb e9d30b40
kernel: printer.c: usblp0: error -6 reading printer status
(значения после urb и burb могут меняться, но долгое время идут одинаковые)
Причем продолжают сыпаться и после очистки очереди печати, даже #
service cups restart не обязательно помогает.
Под окошками вроде бы проблем не обнаружил. Впрочем, там я только
тестировал.
Но и под Compact-ом (2.3) особых проблем тоже не замечал.
Так что проблема вряд-ли в железе.

Master 2.4 (Citron)
Принтер:
Epson Stylus 43UX (ставится под псевдонимом "брата" с номером 42);
$ uname -r

$ rpm -qa |grep cups

А также стоzт:

Никто не напарывался на такого рода засаду?
